Co -ordinates of a point in blender

Hey can some one tell me how to find co-ordinates of a point of a 3d model using blender.

laso tell me how the sam eis done in 3ds max............

Click on the object, so it's selected, and then press "n" key.  That's Blender, I don't know anything about 3ds max.  Out of my price range by a few thousand dollars.
