i can't see most of the images hosted at imageshack.us, instead i see an image saying domain is not registered:

does anybody know what's going on?

Kaiidyn

This is because the domain jpct.net is not registered at imageshack, for egon, please goto http://stream.imageshack.us/content.php?page=register_domain and register the domain there,
Then it should work.
Clean code is simple and direct. Clean code reads like well-written prose. Clean code never obscures the designer's intent but rather is full of crisp abstractions and straightforward lines of control. - Grady Booch

Actually, i don't like the idea of doing this. This is some twisted logic from ImageShack and the only purpose it's going to serve is to collect data and email adresses, either from domain owners or from visitors who register to see the images. My solution to this would be to go away from ImageShack...

raft

i understand your point but -possibly- hundreds of images in this forum will be invisible this way.

raft

possibly it wont work but you can also try giving a fake email address from a site like www.mailinator.com

EgonOlsen

I've no real problem with the mail address itself. Everybody can grab it from this site too. I just don't like ImageShack's idea of offering a free service to people and then forcing third parties, i.e. the webmasters of sites whose users' use ImageShack, to register at ImageShack. Anyway, i did now. No idea how long it will take to be processed.

thanks. you are definetely right but unfortunately seems as this is how web works. i have been using imageshack since early 2005 and this happened now. i will now switch to another image hosting site and after some time who knows what  ::)

Does it work now? I never heard from ImageShack again after filling out that form...

raft

yes it does. i started to work after two days or so.
