How to set material for objects in .bones?

OgreMax exported the .material.xml,  but how to use it?

Is .bones including the material info?

no, no material or texture information is used. only texture coordinates except animation info..

So,  there is no way to use material for Animated3D objects. Is that right?

Without material and lighting, my dog seems not good, could you give me any advices?

What's the difference between a model with texture only and a model with both texture and material?

Do animated3D objects have default material?

material has no effect in bones. all objects in jPCT has a default gray texture, same applies to bones
