Projects / Re: Naroth - 3D open world RPG

It seems to run all right.  I'm trying to get used to the controls right now.  Looks good though.  Like this Fire10 for 100 dollars.  It's not the best tablet in the world, but for the price, it's pretty nice.

I finally ordered a Fire hd 10 tablet and hopefully will be able to play this game.  I know I have to do an extra download to play google apps, but hopefully,  I can check it out.  Looking forward to it.

One thing that's kind of cool they are doing now is taking a low poly character or object, increasing the polys by many fold, sculpting it, and then baking it into a normal map and using it on the the low poly character.  It makes it look a lot higher resolution without slowing it down very much.  Something to keep in mind assuming I figure it out.

Hi Egon.  It looks like that game has done well, over 100,000 installs.  I had phone problems so couldn't play it.  Good reviews also.  Are you planning on any other projects?  I'm finally getting back to Blender a little bit.  They've made so many changes.  It's hard to keep up with that program.

Projects / Re: Thinking about some RPG..Android version.

That's kind of what I had in mind when I suggested one beside the title on the other opening screen.  Did you try it, or don't you think it would work?  I think a larger view in front of the title, or possibly centered below it,  would look good as a sort of game symbol.  It looks cool on the shield, but I think it could be used in both places.

I like it, but it might give the impression it's a 2d game.   You'll probably be able to show some in game shots, also?

That's a good idea.  You could probably use it to restore health or add abilities also.

I think it looks pretty good.  I'm not sure what you could do to improve it or anything.  It's simple, but gets the message across.  Lettering looks good.  Not sure I like it off center, but it's OK.  If I had it off center like that, I would balance it with some kind of symbol.  I think a symbol or something would also help because the background is somewhat simple, but it would need to pertain to the game in some way.  It's really fine the way it is, though.

Feedback / Re: how outdated is galaxy s4?

OK, good.  I need a prepaid, unlocked phone to get the lower rate.  As long as I can do a few 3d things with it, I don't really care that much.

Feedback / how outdated is galaxy s4?

So, I might be going to mobile as opposed to pc.  I would be able to tether my pc, but it's going to mean using small apps because of updating software.  Anyway, I'm looking at getting a galaxy s4 which is just barely affordable for me and wondering how well it works as it's a bit dated I guess.  Everything is so expensive.  My telephone carrier is forcing me onto a more expensive plan and I hate to waste the money since I mostly just read news, so I'm thinking of dropping the land line altogether and going to mobile.

Looking good.

Sounds good.  Just let me know when you get the application working.  Like you say, this is something I'll need to do a little at a time, but I have quite a bit of free time and I really don't mind that kind of thing at all.

Well, I'm a native English speaker.  I've had some college English and writing classes.  I don't think you'll have much for problems judging by your responses.  I'd be happy to help, though.

That will help a lot for variety, although more difference in color tone would help also, like more of a brownish.  You've made amazing progress.  Huge project.
