I have put together a project in GitHub integrating the free library EasyAR (http://www.easyar.com) and JPTC-AE:

The process is pretty similar to the one explained in the wiki about the vuforia integration (http://www.jpct.net/wiki/index.php?title=Integrating_JPCT-AE_with_Vuforia).

Hope it helps to people having troubles with Vuforia!
